Complementary Alternative Medicine

Chiropractic, Massage
and Natural Geothermal Water
Dr. Shalamah
Yahchove
 |
There are no easy solutions to our current economic problems,
being that change is inevitable. However, our body, mind and spiritual growth are optional. We can
create many positive changes simply by combining chiropractic, massage, and Wilbur's mineral-laden
geothermal water. |
Combining massage and chiropractic after soaking in Wilbur's natural
geothermal waters--hydrotherapy--is an ideal prescription for balanced health, enhanced relaxation,
offsetting stress, or to simply luxuriate.
Additionally, pains of arthritis, sport and occupational injuries
can be greatly reduced with this unique combination of treatments. Also, when combining this trio
of remedies and the naturally occurring lithium in Wilbur's water, we not only feel a sense of
calm and well-being, but also foster self-healing.
I gently encourage you to schedule your massage and chiropractic
appointments when reserving your room, for we have a select number of spaces available.
Chiropractic fee is $50.00 if combining the chiropractic session
with a massage session.
Notes From the Caretaker:

Dear Friends of
Wilbur:
Thank you for the response to the Wilbur Ambassador program. Your letters were read
carefully, by all of us, duly noted and much appreciated.
I
began work when I was 13 years old as a freshman in high school and worked my way through college
scraping dishes in a sorority house, selling texts in the bookstore and playing poker. In graduate
school my first job was cleaning rat cages in the experimental psychology laboratory. These
experiences shaped my views of the haves, the have nots and the have a little.
As
a result of my early life experiences, your letters saying that the economic downturn has
decreased, or even eliminated, your visits to Wilbur, pulled on my heart. I ask myself what can I
do to make this healing place more available to these folks? After all, sharing Wilbur rather than
keeping it for myself, family and friends, is my mission.
Some of you inquired about my reasoning in offering a larger reward to the new
guests you bring and a lesser reward to you, the referring source.
During this initial time period, Wilbur will pay for half of your new guests'
bill because as one friend said to me, "I would be uncomfortable bringing friends to Wilbur and
getting a discount that they do not get."
For phase two of the Wilbur Ambassador Program, we will think about ways to give
you, our loyal guests, the larger reward for participating in keeping us well-maintained and at
your service. I will also give more thought to making Wilbur more available to those of you
suffering from the economic debacle our country is in, which includes huge benefits and bail-outs
for the very rich, and lost jobs and lost income for many of the rest.
And some of you asked: "How about a reward to us for sending newbies to Wilbur
when we cannot join them?" Great idea! This too shall be addressed.
For those of you who asked "Why do you want new guests?" the answer is, given our
carefully limited maximum occupancy of about 50 persons (one person for every 35 acres) a higher
percentage of occupancy allows us to forstall, limit, or even avoid, increases in our rates. The
higher Wilbur's occupancy, the less the need to raise rates to keep up with the ever-rising cost of
doing business.
We
welcome additional ideas on how we can reward you, our loyal and appreciated guests, for referring
new people to Wilbur.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Richard

PS: The use and efficacy of transdermal patches has validated those of you who for many years have
believed that Wilbur's minerals enter us, and do their medicinal healing, through our skin. Alas,
we have therefore not been able to keep up with the demand for Wilbur Bath Crystals. The good news
is that our new evaporation building is recently completed and we shall be evaporating and
harvesting more medicinal minerals soon. Until then, we appreciate your patience.
